A bit about Vincent…
Vincent Miller, a denizen of central Kansas, has appreciated the rich texture and spirit of quality choral music and hymns from a young age. This taste was encouraged by growing up in a congregation and family where giving one’s musical best was nurtured. When he was 16, he took a basic high school music theory class, a decision that sparked a love of composition and kindled a desire to better learn the mechanics of music. Beyond high school, his compositional inspiration and formation came primarily through personal study, instructional sessions with Wendell Glick, music camps, choirs, and enriching conversations with friends of like inclination. He seeks to create music that benefits the church, stretches and encourages people, and ultimately brings glory to God. In addition to his musical pursuits, he enjoys reading, foraging, writing, tea, spelunking, and juggling. He relishes the rich delight and joy that may be freely gleaned from the small, simple, beautiful things of this life – a foreshadowing of a greater reality.
